This function is as simple as it sounds, it returns the name of the database your are currently connected to on the handle retrieved from a pg_connect() call.

Список параметров

connection -
Ресурс подключения к базе данных PostgreSQL. Если параметр
connectionне задан, будет использовано подключение по умолчанию - последнее соединение, открытое функцией pg_connect() или pg_pconnect().
Возвращаемые значения
Строка, содержащая имя базы данных, соответствующей ресурсу
connection, либо false в случае ошибки.
